Our Story

The inception of OptionAvenue.com unfolded not within the confines of a glitzy Hollywood office but during the simple, cherished moments of bedtime stories between a father and his children...

David Levine Bramante, known for his marketing expertise and love for storytelling, often chose reading children’s books to his kids over watching TV. During this time, his friend, an independent executive producer, was deeply involved in securing a book option deal for a real estate crime thriller with major networks like Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. Their shared enthusiasm for stories led to numerous conversations about books, adaptations, and favorite films.

These discussions led David to become particularly inspired by the children’s book series “Wilderlore” by Amanda Foody. Envisioning its adaptation into films and merchandise, David attempted to explore the optioning possibilities. However, he found it challenging to connect with the author, highlighting the access barriers independent producers face.

Seeing an opportunity to bridge this gap, David, along with his wife Kayla, a talented tech entrepreneur with whom he had previously launched successful tech projects, decided to innovate. Together, they envisioned OptionAvenue.com—a platform designed to streamline the connection between authors and producers.

OptionAvenue.com was born from the synthesis of David and Kayla’s skills in technology and marketing, rooted in a shared passion for bringing stories to life. The platform is more than just a marketplace; it’s a manifestation of their belief that every story has the potential to inspire and every author deserves a chance to shine.
