Synopsis:
A chance encounter between Nikola Tesla and Jules Verne sets the stage for a revolutionary era of power and invention. Harnessing the energy from meteor fragments of a comet named Uriel, they craft a world fueled not by combustion, but by steam, sparking an industrial revolution unlike anything imagined—a steampunk revolution. While Tesla’s inventions aim to alleviate the burdens of everyday life, Thomas Edison’s ERP Corporation seizes control, using their vast resources and influence to ensure the world pays dearly for these technological wonders. Amidst the growing divide between the elite and the masses, one man rises to embody Tesla’s vision of innovation for the people. Known as Corsair, his legendary exploits, infamous crew, and cutting-edge airship offer a glimmer of hope to a world burdened by corporate greed. Together, they fight to reclaim Tesla’s dream, soaring above the skies in a fight for freedom, invention, and the future.
Act 1:
Introduction to the world and key characters: The story starts in 1887 in Amiens, France, where Jules Verne meets Nikola Tesla. This meeting sets the tone for the technological advancements and steampunk world powered by meteor fragments. Tesla’s inventions and Verne’s imagination form the foundation of a new revolution in science and technology. Inciting Incident: Tesla shows Verne a small meteor fragment with immense power and proposes a collaboration. This leads to the start of their journey into creating groundbreaking technologies that will change the world. Introduction of conflict: The corporate power of Thomas Edison’s ERP Corporation and its contrast with Tesla’s vision for humanity is hinted at, setting the stage for the larger conflict. This act also introduces Corsair, the protagonist, as a rebel fighting against the corporate forces.
Act 2:
Rising Action: The narrative jumps forward to 1907, and the technological advancements Tesla and Verne created have led to a new industrial era. However, Edison’s corporation has monopolized this technology for profit, and Corsair and his crew are introduced as freedom fighters seeking to disrupt the oppressive corporate control. Midpoint: The heist aboard the Valiant, a luxurious airship, marks the midpoint. Corsair and his crew attempt to steal a valuable piece of the Uriel comet while fighting off Pinkertons and other forces loyal to ERP. This heist deepens the conflict between Corsair and the corporate powers. Conflict intensifies: As the heist unfolds, Corsair and his crew face increasing resistance, including battles with Pinkertons and a BOSS unit. They manage to steal a significant fragment of the comet, but it’s revealed that this is part of a larger trap set by ERP to capture or eliminate Corsair.
Act 3:
Climax: The climax occurs when Corsair and his crew successfully escape from the Valiant airship with the comet fragment, despite being surrounded and nearly captured. They outmaneuver the corporate forces through a combination of clever tactics and daring moves. Final confrontation: While Corsair escapes, it’s clear that the battle against ERP is far from over. The story hints at further conflicts, as Edison’s corporation still seeks control of the Uriel fragments for more dangerous purposes. Resolution: The crew of the Galeru airship rejoices after their victory, but the discovery that ERP is developing even more dangerous technologies (potentially weapons of mass destruction) sets the stage for future battles. Moon Crow’s revelation about another meteorite fragment in his homeland leads to the next mission for Corsair and his team, suggesting a continuation of their fight against the corporate empire.
